The Canadian Club hosts a Celebration of the 5th Anniversary of the Vancouver Olympic & Paralympic Games and the 50th Birthday of Our Canadian Flag. The TwentyTen Corporation is Proud to Support.
On February 12th, 2010, Vancouver was showcased on the world stage as our Olympic Opening Ceremonies commenced a huge moment of pride for our city. Together, let’s celebrate the 5th anniversary of our momentous Olympic Games!
Another milestone for Canada will be reached in February as our national flag will turn 50 on February 15th, 2015. This anniversary allows Canadians to reflect on our flag and what it represents — a nation strong, proud, and free that is admired and respected at home and around the world.
This February 12th 2015 the Canadian Club will honour both moments of Canadian heritage with a celebratory breakfast and presentations from our very own John Furlong OC, OBC, CEO of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Games, as well as Senator Nancy Greene Raine OC, OBC, OD, a gold medal winning alpine skier and Canada’s Female Athlete of the 20th Century.
All donations from the event’s raffle will go to our wonderful charity of choice KidSport! Let’s give kids a chance to participate in sport and perhaps one day on the Olympic stage!
We hope to see you there in your Olympic gear,
