Canadian Sponsorship Industry Grows to Over $1.5 Billion in 2011

Vancouver, B.C. (September 13, 2012) – With sponsorship spending representing nearly a third of all Canadian marketing budgets, sponsorship investment is now a critical component of all major marketing strategies. To meet the needs of this growing industry, the TwentyTen Group is pleased to announce the addition of Senior Partner Brad Furtney and Associate Auburn Sigurdson to its team of strategic marketing and sponsorship professionals.

Brad Furtney joins the TwentyTen Group as a Senior Partner to lead the firm’s sales team and Toronto office. Brad brings with him over two decades of marketing, sponsorship and sales experience in the packaged goods, broadcast media and digital media industries which will bring the rigour and process of media sales to the sponsorship landscape. Most recently at Bell Media,, Brad led the digital media sales team which focussed on building customized digital solution partnerships with Canada’s largest corporations.

Auburn Sigurdson brings a wealth of communications and sports experience to the Vancouver office. Auburn is the client lead for Whistler Blackcomb. Prior to joining the TwentyTen Group, Auburn was Manager of Marketing and Communications at Canadian Sport Centre Pacific, where she oversaw the organization’s communications, partnership development and philanthropic outreach over three campuses in Victoria, Vancouver and Whistler, and eight satellite regional centres throughout BC.
