Twentyten Group achieves remarkable first year growth

Vancouver, B.C.(June 1st, 2011) – Reversing industry trends, the TwentyTen Group is today celebrating a remarkable first year in business.

Since opening for business on June 1st 2010 with one client and 5 staff, all alumni of the award-winning VANOC marketing department, the TwentyTen team has more than doubled in size and opened a Toronto office to manage the expanding roster of International and domestic clients.

Current Clients include: The International Olympic Committee, Canadian Olympic Committee, City of Vancouver, Stanley Park Brewing Company, University of Victoria, Kusshi Oysters and keynote speakers John Furlong, Terry Wright and Ann Duffy. Shaw also alluded to another major client announcement coming very soon.

The TwentyTen Group is a team of strategic marketing, sponsorship and communications experts led by Founder and Managing Partner Andrea J. Shaw, former Vice-President Sponsorship Sales & Marketing at VANOC, Senior Partner Bill Cooper, former Director of Commercial Rights Management VANOC and Sandra Hamilton, Business Manager to John Furlong.

New appointments: TwentyTen Group Toronto is headed up by Bart Given, former assistant GM of The Toronto Blue Jays, who has recently added Brock University Sports Management Masters graduate Peter Gardner to the team. Equestrian and UBC Sauder School of Business graduate Bridget Martin completes the current TwentyTen Group team in Vancouver.
