Andrew Bell recently landed in Toronto to join TTG’s client service team as a transplant from the UK. His work history with the British Triathlon Federation and British Swimming as an events manager gave Andrew tremendous experience in managing stakeholders, consumers, suppliers and athletes. It also satisfied a life-long goal of spending time “on-deck” at major events.
Andrew grew up a touch North of London playing football (soccer) and rugby in the big city. However, despite being a fan of the hustle and bustle, he took every opportunity he could to escape the British Isles and travel the world. After periods living and working in five countries over the past twelve years, it was Canada, more specifically Banff, that convinced him he’d found a new place to call home. He became a permanent resident of Canada in 2016.
Whilst in Canada, Andrew most recently helped build and manage a Destination Management division of a Banff based tour company and spent four years working with corporate clients in the sale and delivery of retreats, incentive trips and conferences throughout the Canadian Rockies and British Columbia.
Andrew is also a qualified Anti-Doping Officer and has been involved in keeping sport clean for the past decade. It was this line of work that led to his involvement in the delivery of the London 2012 Olympic Games and their anti-doping program, an experience he describes as “absolutely the best experience of my life”
